Some New Spots

These are the latest restaurants we have visited recently.

One 0 Eight opened its doors in the Yalecrest neighborhood of SLC and is already making a name for itself with delicious appetizers, interesting entrees, and an impeccable wine list. Be sure to put One 0 Eight on your list immediately.

Hopkins Brewing Co.

Let’s all pray that Hopkins rocks this spot. You may have already tried Hopkins Brewing’s great beer, so now you need to check out their location in Sugar House. In the central Sugar House spot that couldn’t hold Epic, The Annex, Black Sheep, or Dolce Sicilia, we hope Hopkins is here to stay. They have excellent brews on tap as well as a tasty Philly Cheesesteak , savory tacos, and a quality pretzel bun burger.

Riverbank Bar

Riverbank fills the much needed neighborhood bar need in Salt Lake City. Located across the street from the Brickyard Harmon’s, Riverbank has plenty of room to rock with a wide selection of beers, craft cocktails, and a wonderful food menu with Scotch Eggs, Catfish Fillet, and a big ‘ol juicy burger.

Plate Highlights

The Breaky Bowl from Purgatory

I can’t stop thinking of this dish. It might be my new favorite brunch item of any brunch spot in Salt Lake City. Think of this as a breakfast fried rice with egg, pork belly, and kale. I can’t describe how amazing this is. Just… just go try it for yourself. It’s a revelation.
