The Avenues is one of Salt Lake City’s oldest neighborhoods, but the best Avenues restaurants are anything but old-fashioned and are often delivering some of the freshest dishes in the city. Tucked away in this historic neighborhood are some of our favorite restaurants and bistros, and at least half of the spots on this Best Avenues Restaurants list are in our regular rotation.
To me, I have to say The Avenues in a posh accent with my pinky out (with love, of course). It’s always been the place I love to explore when classes let out at the U. There is nothing better than walking through The Avenues’ shaded tree-lined streets during the long summer evenings, and then enjoying a Proper Beer on the patio of the first Avenues restaurant on this list.
