Sandy is near and dear to my heart as it was the setting of the best years of my childhood. Back then there were a few restaurants in Sandy, but for the most part it felt like chains and franchises on every corner. Though as a kid any place with crayons and kids menus was considered one of the Best Sandy Restaurants in my mind. But these days as I explore Sandy in adulthood, I’m amazed with the amount of high-quality, locally-owned restaurants in Sandy that I get to try. I get to fall in love with the city and it’s food all over again.
This list of the Best Sandy Restaurants contains some of our favorite places to stop in when we are on the south end of the Valley. And many of them are destinations themselves.
