Ah, the Central City neighborhood of Salt Lake City. Not quite Downtown SLC, not quite The Avenues, and not quite the University, Central City could feel like no man’s land. Except that it is maybe the best place to be in greater SLC because everything is close and convenient whether you are driving, riding a bike, or hopping on TRAX. Yes, Central City SLC is perfectly named because it’s central to everything Salt Lake City has to offer. But Central City is also home to some of the most exciting New American/chef-driven restaurants, hearty brunch spots, coolest coffee shops, and decadent bakeries in the city.
