“I used to eat there. Really good noodles.”
-Neo, The Matrix [1999]
Have y’all noticed a resurgence of ramen spots in Salt Lake City? With longtime favorites like Tosh’s Ramen holding down the fort for years, and creative newcomers like Jinya Ramen Bar opening its second location in Sugar House (the first is in Murray on State Street), it seems like Salt Lake is having a Ramen Renaissance. And it’s about time. Nothing beats a hot bowl of tonkotsu ramen on a snowy afternoon – watching the Greatest Snow on Earth collect outside the window. OR having a hot bowl on any one of the 100+ degree days in July because…you just gotta. You are both right. There is no wrong time for ramen. If you froth for broth (sorry), check out our favorite noods in this Best Ramen in Salt Lake City list.
As SLC ramen spots continue to open, we will continue to expand this list. Tell us what ramen we have to try next in the comments!
